A cluster of sixteen recall campaigns issued between April 2015 and June 2026 ties together body, latch, and structural defects across Ford's F-150, F-Series Super Duty, and Expedition lineups. What began with a critical-tier notice covering just 73 trucks grew into a sprawling series of campaigns that collectively touches more than 2.6 million vehicles across model years 2015 through 2024.
The breadth of the cluster reflects how a shared platform architecture and common supplier components can produce recurring failure patterns. Door latches, tailgate mechanisms, underbody insulators, windshield retention, and interior trim all appear across the sixteen campaigns, connecting light-duty trucks, heavy Super Duty workhorses, and a full-size SUV under a single thematic umbrella.
Severity tiers across the cluster range from medium to critical, with the most serious designations attached to driveshaft fracture risks and door-opening hazards identified during driving. The most recent campaign, issued June 2026, is also the largest single action in the cluster, covering roughly 548,000 Expedition vehicles whose center console chrome plating may develop sharp edges.
