Defect
On certain vehicles, if the driver or front passenger safety belt is pulled out much faster than normal a number of times, the lock-up feature of the retractor may not work properly. In a rapid deceleration or crash, the occupant would then not be properly restrained.
Safety Risk

Remedy
Driver and front seat passenger seat belt retractors will be replaced.
