Defect
On certain vehicles, the windshield wipers were not adjusted correctly at the factory. This could cause the driver’s wiper to clear a slightly smaller area of the windshield than it should. Canadian regulations require a minimum percentage of the windshield glass area that is cleaned by the wiper.
Safety Risk
This small error would not affect a driver’s visibility and is unlikely to affect safety.
Remedy
This is not a recall. This notice is for information only. The company has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles have windshield wipers that are adjusted correctly.
