Defect
On certain motorcycles, the fuel tank front mounts may distort in reaction to severe frame damage from a frontal collision. This may result in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire, causing property damage, personal injury or death.
Safety Risk

Remedy
Dealers will install fuel tank front mount braces.
