Defect

On certain convertible cars, the lower universal anchorage system for attaching child safety or booster seats may have been installed incorrectly. In the event of a crash, this could cause the lower anchorage (and an attached child seat) to detach from the car body, increasing the risk of injury.

Dealers will inspect and replace the lower universal anchorage system if necessary.
