Defect

Under certain conditions, the pre-collision system may automatically switch on the hazard warning lights in a non-emergency situation.

Safety Risk

Hazard warning lights that switch on in a non-emergency situation may confuse other drivers, and could increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the vehicle. This will remove the automatic hazard warning light function.
