Defect
On certain vehicles, the bracket between the brake pedal assembly and the rod that actuates the vehicle service brakes may fracture. If this occurs, the vehicle service brakes will not function, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Note: The parking brake would continue to function properly.
