6 recalls across 4 model years
The Acura NSX has 6 recalls covering the 2017–2020 model years, with the most serious being a fuel system defect on 2017–2018 models where the crossover pipe connecting the left and right fuel tanks can leak, creating a fire risk in the presence of an ignition source.
The fuel system is the dominant concern across the full production run. On 2018–2019 models, the low-pressure fuel pump inside the tank can fail, causing the engine to stall while driving. A broader fuel pump recall extends this same stalling risk to 2017–2020 models, covering the entire production span of the NSX.
The 2017 model year also has an electrical issue with the center high-mount brake light assembly. Road vibrations can loosen the screws securing the circuit board, causing them to contact the circuitry, blow the brake light fuse, and leave the vehicle with no functioning brake lights. A vehicle in this condition also cannot be restarted once shut off.
