The 1975 model has a fuel hose that can rub against the front engine and suspension crossmember due to a misrouted retainer clip, wearing through the hose and leaking fuel near hot engine components. Also on 1975 models, the jack assemblies may be substandard and fail to safely support the vehicle during a tire change. The 1976 model year has a rear seat back hinge latch that can fail, allowing the seat back to fold forward unexpectedly.
