The Aprilia Scarabeo 200 has 1 recall affecting the 2008 model year, where overfilling the fuel tank or tipping the scooter onto its side can allow raw fuel to enter the evaporative emissions hoses, causing hard starting, random stalling, reduced power, and reduced top speed. In some cases the carburetor float bowl can also overflow, compounding the running issues. The condition is most likely to appear after the scooter has been laid down or after a fill-up that goes past the recommended capacity.
