3 recalls across 3 model years
The Aston Martin DB12 has 3 recalls covering 2023 through 2025 model years, with the most serious being engine oil cooler hoses that can split and leak oil on 2023–2025 vehicles, potentially causing the engine to stall or seize and creating a fire risk.
The oil cooler hose issue affects all three model years, though the 2023 and 2024–2025 vehicles were addressed through separate campaigns. On 2023 models, a failed hose can cause a sudden loss of drive power in addition to the fire risk. On 2024–2025 models, the hose splitting leads to rapid oil loss and pressure drop, which can cause the engine to stall or seize without warning.
There is also a rearview camera software issue on 2024–2025 models where the infotainment home screen can overlay the camera image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, partially or fully blocking the driver's view behind the vehicle.
