2 recalls across 2 model years
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has 2 recalls, both affecting airbag fasteners on 2019–2020 models where improperly tightened hardware can cause airbags to deploy incorrectly in a crash, reducing occupant protection.
The 2019 model year is covered by both recalls. One involves locking nut fasteners on the passenger airbag module that may not have been tightened to spec, which can prevent the airbag from deploying as intended when needed. The other covers front seat airbag fasteners across 2019–2020 vehicles that can be similarly loose, again risking improper deployment. Both issues share the same real-world consequence: in a crash where the airbag is supposed to fire, it may not inflate correctly, leaving the occupant without full cushioning.
