5 recalls across 5 model years
The Aston Martin Vanquish has 5 recalls spanning 2002 through 2025, with the most serious affecting 2025 models where the vacuum pump can fail to generate vacuum, stripping away power brake assist and significantly extending stopping distances.
Recalls 1 and 3 both address this same brake assist issue on 2025 vehicles. When the vacuum pump stops working, the brake pedal requires substantially more force to apply, and the vehicle takes longer to stop. A brake warning light and instrument cluster message will typically appear when this occurs.
The 2014 Vanquish has two separate concerns. A communication error between the engine and transmission control modules can prevent the transmission park pawl from engaging when the vehicle is shifted into park. If the driver then exits on a slope without applying the parking brake, the vehicle can roll away. That same model year, along with 2015 and 2016 production, shares a door latch issue where the interior unlocking mechanism can fail to release after the vehicle has been locked from outside, potentially trapping an occupant inside.
Going back to the earliest production, the 2002 model year has a throttle pedal assembly that can slip out of its housing, causing the driver to lose throttle control.
