4 recalls across 7 model years
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur has 4 recalls spanning the 2007–2013 model years, with the most serious affecting 2012–2013 vehicles where a loose battery cable can overheat and start a fire.
On the structural side, 2007–2009 models built through late 2008 have a sunroof glass panel that may not be properly secured to the frame and can detach while driving, becoming a road hazard for surrounding traffic. The 2007 model year has a separate sunroof bonding concern with the same consequence: the glass panel can separate from the vehicle in motion. On 2007–2011 models equipped with carbon ceramic brake discs, the stainless steel screws that hold the brake rotors in place can corrode and fail after exposure to road salt, reducing braking ability.
