BMW 750i Recalls

The BMW 750i has 4 recalls spanning 2005 to 2020, with the most serious affecting 2020 750i xDrive models where a loose high-pressure fuel pump can develop a cracked flange, leak fuel near ignition sources, and create a fire risk.

On 2005-2008 models equipped with both the Comfort Access and Soft Close Automatic options, door latches can appear fully closed while remaining incompletely engaged, and the door can swing open unexpectedly from road vibration or contact with an occupant. The 2009-2012 model years share a turbocharger circuit board defect with several other BMW models: the board can overheat, raising the risk of an engine fire. On 2013-2015 models, certain vehicles may have received an incorrect left rear taillight assembly as a replacement part, making the rear of the vehicle less visible to following drivers.
