BMW 750i Recalls

The BMW 750i has 4 recalls spanning 2005 through 2020, with the most serious recent issue affecting 2020 models where a high-pressure fuel pump can crack at its flange, leak fuel, and create a fire risk near ignition sources.

The 2005-2008 model years carry a door latch recall covering vehicles equipped with both the Comfort Access and Soft Close Automatic options, where a door can appear fully closed but remain unlatched and swing open while driving due to road conditions or contact from an occupant. The 2011-2012 model years have a turbocharger-related circuit board that can overheat and raise the risk of an engine fire. On 2013-2015 vehicles, certain examples may have received an incorrect left rear taillight assembly as a replacement part, making the vehicle less visible to drivers behind it.
