The 2024 model year has two additional recalls. The steering spindle can fracture, causing a sudden increase in steering effort that makes the vehicle harder to control. Separately, the electronic brake booster control module can malfunction, reducing power brake assist and extending stopping distances; the anti-lock brakes and stability control can also fail as a result, raising the risk of losing control during hard braking or on slippery surfaces.
