On 2024 models, there is also a brake system concern where the electronic brake booster control module can fail, reducing the power assist that makes the brake pedal effective. This can extend stopping distances and, if the anti-lock brakes or stability control also malfunction as a result, cause the vehicle to behave unpredictably during hard braking. Across both 2024 and 2025 models, the air conditioning wiring harness runs close enough to the cabin air filter housing that the harness can be nicked or damaged during a routine filter change, leaving it vulnerable to a short circuit and potential fire in the engine compartment.
