The BMW R 18 B has 1 recall covering 2021-2024 model years, where the low beam headlight's attachment points can break and shift the reflector out of position, reducing forward illumination or creating glare for oncoming drivers and raising the risk of a crash. When the reflector shifts, the beam no longer points where it should, which can leave the rider with less road visibility at night or in low-light conditions while simultaneously directing unwanted light into the eyes of oncoming traffic.
