3 recalls across 2 model years
The Buell XB12X Ulysses has 3 recalls spanning the 2006–2010 production run, with the most serious being a 2010 model year defect where the right-side foot peg mount can fail and allow the foot peg to shift out of position, causing loss of control while riding.
The 2006 model year has two separate concerns. A bank angle sensor can lose electrical isolation when vibration combines with wiring contact at the sensor or its connector, sending a false tip-over signal to the engine and cutting power while the motorcycle is in motion. There is also a risk that the side stand pivot bolt or its mounting bracket bolts can fracture, causing the motorcycle to fall over when parked or when the stand is deployed.
