4 recalls across 2 model years
The Buick Allure has 4 recalls across the 2005–2007 model years, with the most serious being a fuel tank defect on 2007 models where missing adhesive between tank layers allows fuel or fuel vapors to seep out, creating a fire risk if an ignition source is nearby.
The 2005 model year has two recalls of its own. A brake pedal assembly issue can leave a bent retaining clip that works loose, causing the brake booster pushrod to separate from the pedal entirely. When that happens, pressing the brake pedal produces no braking force and the vehicle cannot be stopped normally. There is also a headlamp driver module on 2005 models that can malfunction at high underhood temperatures, causing both the low-beam headlights and daytime running lamps to go dark. Returning to the 2007 model year, wiring harness routing changes made to meet crash test standards can damage the wiring that signals the side impact airbags to inflate, meaning those airbags may not deploy in a side collision.
