CADILLAC LIMOUSINE Recalls

The Cadillac Limousine has 4 recalls covering the 1990 and 2000 model years, with the most serious being a 2000 model year brake hose defect where the right front hose can contact the wheel, wear through, and leak fluid, cutting pressure to half the brake system and extending stopping distances. The 2000 model year also has an incorrect tire pressure label that can lead to improper inflation, increasing the risk of tire damage and handling problems. Going back to the 1990 model year, the rear wheel brake cylinders are undersized and cannot generate adequate braking force if the power brake assist unit stops working, meaning stopping distances in that condition would exceed safe limits.
