The 2025 Can-Am Origin has 4 recalls, the most serious being front brake failure and a high-voltage battery fire risk that can occur even while the motorcycle is parked and turned off.
On the brake side, the front brake caliper support can crack and fail, causing the front brake to stop working entirely. Without front braking, stopping distances extend significantly and the rider loses a primary means of slowing the motorcycle. On the battery side, a breather valve that fails to seal properly lets moisture into the high-voltage battery pack. Water inside the battery can cut drive power without warning while riding, and the same moisture can cause the battery to overheat and catch fire whether the motorcycle is in motion or sitting parked.
