The 2020 Can-Am Ryker has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front wheels, which can loosen or separate from the vehicle entirely while riding, creating a significant crash risk. Two separate wheel-related issues affect certain vehicles: wheel nuts can crack and allow the wheels to work loose, and on some units the front wheels may not have been properly installed at the factory, making separation possible. On the electrical side, wiring harnesses for the position lights and turn signals in the front fenders can loosen and contact the tire, causing a short circuit that stalls the engine while riding. There is also a fuel system concern where a swelling impeller inside the high-pressure fuel pump can cause the pump to fail, which also leads to an unexpected engine stall.
