DUCATI DESMOSEDICI RR Recalls

The Ducati Desmosedici RR has 3 recalls, all affecting 2008 models, with two carrying fire risk: mispositioned fuel hose clamps can damage the fuel drain and breather hoses and leak fuel near an ignition source, and a seat tail guard that sits too close to the exhaust can ignite and cause a fire. The third recall involves the main wiring harness, which on 2008 models can be routed too close to the frame, causing it to chafe and wear through the insulation. Depending on which wires are damaged, this can cause the lights to fail or engine performance to degrade.
