1 recall across 3 model years
The Ducati Hypermotard 939 has 1 recall covering 2016-2018 model years, where two oil cooler hoses can rub against each other, wear through, and leak oil onto the rear tire, reducing traction and raising the risk of a crash.
On 2016-2018 models, the two hoses routed through the oil cooling system run close enough together that they can contact each other over time. That contact wears away the hose material, eventually allowing oil to escape. If oil reaches the rear tire, grip drops significantly, which can cause the rider to lose control, particularly during cornering or braking.
