4 recalls across 10 model years
The Ducati Panigale V4 S has 4 recalls spanning 2017 through 2026, with the most serious being a rear wheel axle that can fracture on 2018-2024 models, causing sudden loss of control while riding.
The 2025-2026 model years share a rear brake hose issue where excessive heat can damage the line between the anti-lock brake unit and the rear caliper, causing sudden and complete loss of rear braking. This same defect affects 2025 models under a separate filing with identical consequences.
Going back to 2018-2024 production, the rear wheel axle can crack and break while the motorcycle is in motion, leaving the rider without control of the rear wheel. On 2017-2019 models, excessive pressure can build inside the fuel tank and cause fuel to spray outward when the rider opens the fuel cap, raising the risk of fire if an ignition source is nearby.
