4 recalls across 10 model years
The Ducati Panigale V4 S has 4 recalls spanning 2018 through 2026, with the most serious recent issue affecting 2025-2026 models where excessive heat can damage the rear brake hose between the ABS unit and caliper, causing sudden and complete loss of rear braking.
A separate recall covers the same rear brake hose failure on 2025 models, where the same heat-related damage can result in an abrupt loss of rear brake function while riding. On 2018-2024 models, the rear wheel axle can crack and break while the motorcycle is in motion, causing an immediate loss of control. Going back to early production, 2018-2019 models have a fuel tank pressure issue where opening the fuel cap can cause fuel to spray outward, raising the risk of fire if an ignition source is nearby.
