The Ducati Streetfighter V2 has 3 recalls covering the 2025-2026 model years, with the most serious being reversed ABS fuses that can cause the anti-lock braking system to malfunction on 2025-2026 models, allowing a wheel to lock up suddenly and the rider to lose control.
Recalls 1 and 2 describe the same underlying ABS fuse defect. On affected 2025-2026 models, the fuses for the ABS pump and control unit were installed in the wrong positions during assembly, which can blow a fuse and disable the system entirely. Without functioning ABS, either wheel can lock under hard braking, which on a motorcycle can throw the rider. Earlier 2025 models had an additional version of this issue where the fuses may simply not have been seated correctly, producing the same outcome.
The third recall also affects 2025 models and involves the rear wheel axle, which can lose structural integrity and break while the motorcycle is in motion. A broken rear axle is a sudden and severe loss of control with no warning to the rider.
