The Ducati Streetfighter V4 has 3 recalls spanning the 2021–2026 model years, with the most serious affecting 2025–2026 models where excessive heat can damage the rear brake hose, causing a sudden and complete loss of rear braking. On 2025 models specifically, an earlier dealer repair for the rear brake hose issue did not fully resolve the problem, and a second repair is required. The heat damage can cause brake fluid to leak and reduce stopping power, raising the risk of a crash. On the mechanical side, 2021 models have a generator rotor that can fracture, breaking through the generator cover and allowing engine oil to leak onto the rear tire, which can cause the rear wheel to lose traction unexpectedly.
