FERRARI 512 TR Recalls

The Ferrari 512 TR has 1 recall affecting the 1992 model year, where a metal fuel supply line fitting near the fuel filter can fracture and leak fuel, creating a fire risk if the leaking fuel contacts an ignition source. The fitting fails when the nut securing the fuel line to the fuel filter is overtightened during assembly or service, cracking the banjo fitting and allowing fuel to escape. Because the leak occurs in the engine compartment near heat and ignition sources, a fire can start even while the car is parked.
