FERRARI F430 Recalls

The Ferrari F430 has 2 recalls, both affecting 2006 model year vehicles, with the more serious being hydraulic hoses for the convertible top that can develop hairline cracks from engine heat, leak fluid into the engine compartment, and cause smoke or fire while the vehicle is in use. The second recall covers 2006 Spider and Coupe models equipped with the manual six-speed transmission, where a fitting in the clutch pump can crack from heat under normal driving conditions, leak hydraulic fluid, and gradually reduce clutch pedal response to the point where the driver loses the ability to operate the clutch.
