GMC M6500 Recalls

The GMC M6500 has 1 recall affecting the 1975 model year, where an anti-lock brake controller on air-brake-equipped truck and school bus chassis can malfunction and prevent the brakes from applying on the affected axle, extending stopping distances and raising the risk of a crash. When the Eaton anti-lock controller fails, the brakes on the axle it controls may not engage at all during a stop, leaving the driver with reduced braking force and a longer distance needed to bring the vehicle to a halt.
