3 recalls across 2 model years
The Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob (FXDB) has 3 recalls covering 2007 and 2009 model years, the most serious being a fuel tank vent tube defect on 2009 models where the anti-slosh valve can separate, allowing fuel to spill if the motorcycle tips over and creating a fire risk near any ignition source.
The 2009 model year also has a jiffy stand spring anchor with a potentially defective weld that can prevent the stand from retracting fully. A stand that drags on the ground or contacts the road during a turn can throw the rider. On 2007 models, certain motorcycles were assembled with a front tire that is narrower than the correct specification. That incorrect tire creates handling characteristics that were never tested or validated for the model, raising the risk of a crash.
