3 recalls across 2 model years
The Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob (FXDB) has 3 recalls covering 2007 and 2009 model years, with the most serious affecting 2009 models where a faulty fuel tank vent tube can separate when the motorcycle is tipped over, spilling fuel that can ignite if an ignition source is nearby.
The 2009 model year also has a jiffy stand (kickstand) spring anchor that may not retract fully due to a defective weld, leaving the stand partially deployed while riding and creating a crash risk. On 2007 models, certain motorcycles left the factory fitted with a narrower front tire than specified, creating a handling configuration that was never tested and can produce unpredictable performance at the front wheel.
