3 recalls across 3 model years
The Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide (FXD) has 3 recalls spanning the 1990–2004 production run, with the most serious being a fuel hose defect on 2004 models where the hose can separate from its inner liner, leak fuel, and create a fire risk.
The 1996 model year has a rear brake master cylinder seal that can shift out of position on the piston, reducing or eliminating rear braking force. Going back to the earliest production, the 1990 model has a fuel overflow system that can release excess fuel onto the ground while the motorcycle is parked, creating a fire hazard on or near the machine.
