3 recalls across 9 model years
The Harley-Davidson FLHC has 3 recalls spanning 2018 through 2026, with the most serious recent issue affecting 2025-2026 models where the rear brake line can rub against the body control module, wear through, leak fluid, and cause complete loss of rear braking.
The 2018-2021 model years have two related rear shock absorber recalls. In both cases, a fastener or mounting tab on the rear shock pre-load adjuster can break, allowing the adjuster to contact and damage the rear tire. The result is a sudden loss of tire pressure while riding, which can cause loss of vehicle control.
