3 recalls across 9 model years
The Harley-Davidson FLHC has 3 recalls spanning 2018 through 2026, with the most serious affecting 2025-2026 models where the rear brake line can contact the body control module, wear a hole through the line, leak brake fluid, and cause complete loss of rear braking.
On 2018-2021 models, a fastener or mounting tab on the rear shock absorber pre-load adjuster can break, allowing the adjuster to contact and damage the rear tire. That contact can puncture or deflate the tire while riding, leading to sudden loss of vehicle control.
