The Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic Shrine (FLSTC) has 1 recall affecting the 2007 model year, where the positive battery cable can rub against a weld bead on the oil tank, wear through the cable's insulation, and create an electrical short that can ignite an oil leak and start a fire.

When the short occurs, current passes through the oil tank and oil lines, which can cause oil to escape and catch fire near the rider. The risk is present even when the underlying contact develops gradually over time from normal vibration and movement.
