3 recalls across 6 model years
The Harley-Davidson RH1250S has 3 recalls covering 2021 through 2026, with the most serious being an upper triple clamp that can fracture on 2021-2026 models while the motorcycle is moving, causing sudden loss of steering control and a high crash risk. The triple clamp sits at the top of the front fork assembly and ties the handlebars to the forks, so a fracture there removes the rider's ability to steer. This issue was addressed across the full 2021-2026 production run.
On 2021 models only, the instrument cluster can fail to display the speedometer and neutral indicator at startup when temperatures drop below freezing. A rider who cannot confirm neutral or monitor speed at launch has less situational awareness in a moment that already requires attention.
