Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe Recalls

The Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe has 1 recall affecting the 2018 model year, where a screw securing the rear shock absorber adjuster can break, allowing the adjuster to shift and cut into the rear tire, causing sudden pressure loss and tire failure that can result in loss of control.

When the adjuster contact damages the tire carcass, the deflation can be rapid and unexpected, leaving little time to react. The fix addresses the fastener before any contact with the tire occurs.
