The Harley-Davidson Softail Street Bob has 1 recall affecting 2018 models, where a screw securing the rear shock absorber adjuster can break, allowing the adjuster to shift and contact the rear tire, causing sudden pressure loss and tire failure that can result in a crash. This recall applies specifically to motorcycles that had aftermarket rear shock absorber kits installed before delivery or purchased as a dealer accessory. When the adjuster works loose, the physical contact with the spinning tire can cause rapid deflation, leaving the rider with little warning before losing control.
