1 recall across 1 model year
The Harley-Davidson Trike has 1 recall affecting 2014 models manufactured between July 24 and September 2, 2013, where an excessive steering angle can cause the inner fairing to press against the rear brake fluid reservoir, cracking it and allowing fluid to leak out, which reduces rear braking performance and can make the motorcycle harder to control.
When the fairing contacts the reservoir at full steering lock, the brake fluid loss is gradual enough that a rider may not notice until braking feels soft or unresponsive. The same contact can also damage the steering damper, further reducing the rider's ability to manage the front end during cornering or sudden maneuvers.
