2 recalls across 5 model years
The Harley-Davidson VRSCDX has 2 recalls covering 2009–2013 model years, with the most serious being a license plate bracket on 2012–2013 models that can loosen, separate from the rear fender, and contact the rear brake line, reducing rear braking ability and raising the risk of a crash.
On 2009–2011 models equipped with anti-lock brakes, deposits can cause a valve inside the ABS hydraulic control unit to stick, which also reduces braking performance and increases crash risk.
