3 recalls across 5 model years
The Indian Challenger Dark Horse has 3 recalls spanning 2020 through 2025, with the most serious affecting 2025 models where an incorrectly crimped wire can cause the fuel pump to fail and stall the engine without warning while riding.
The 2024 model year has a rear suspension pushrod that can buckle under load, which can pinch the main wiring harness, damage the coolant reservoir, contact and damage the rear tire, or cause the suspension to bottom out. On 2020-2022 models, the brake lights can illuminate unintentionally, which may confuse following drivers about whether the motorcycle is actually slowing down.
