The 2019-2020 model years have a coolant junction that can leak hot fluid onto the rider or onto the rear tire. Contact with the rider raises the risk of burns, while coolant on the rear tire can cause a sudden loss of traction. Across the full 2019-2022 production run, a brake light control issue can cause the brake light to illuminate when the rider is not braking, which can confuse following traffic and increase the risk of a rear-end collision.
