The INFINITI G35 Coupe has 2 recalls across its 2003-2006 production run, the most serious affecting 2003 models where the brake light switch contacts can oxidize and lose continuity, causing the brake lights to stay dark when the pedal is pressed and leaving following drivers with no warning that the car is slowing. The 2006 model year has a separate lighting compliance issue where the headlight beam pattern does not meet the required vertical gradient standard, which can reduce forward visibility or produce glare for oncoming drivers.
