INFINITI QX55 Recalls

The INFINITI QX55 has 2 recalls, the most serious affecting 2022 model year vehicles where engine bearing defects in the 2.0L variable compression turbo engine can cause engine failure, crack the engine block, and allow hot oil to discharge and ignite a fire. The 2022 model year also has a separate issue where a bracket securing the engine block heater wiring harness may be missing, allowing the wiring to contact the drive belt, fray, and overheat or melt when the block heater is plugged in, creating a fire risk in the engine compartment.
