1 recall across 5 model years
The Isuzu Rodeo Sport has 1 recall covering 2001-2002 model years (and the predecessor Amigo for 1998-2000), where rear suspension lower link brackets can corrode and detach from the frame, causing sudden handling instability and raising the risk of a crash. This recall applies only to vehicles originally sold or currently registered in salt-belt states and the upper Midwest, where road salt accelerates the corrosion. When a bracket lets go, the rear suspension loses its anchor point on that side, and the driver can feel the vehicle pull or become unresponsive before control is lost.
