JAGUAR SOVEREIGN Recalls

The Jaguar Sovereign has 1 recall affecting the 1987 model year, where the power brake high-pressure supply hose can rupture, dumping brake fluid into the engine compartment and stripping away the power assist needed to slow the vehicle, while the expelled fluid raises the risk of an underhood fire. When the hose fails, the driver will notice a significantly harder brake pedal and increased stopping distances as the power boost is lost. Brake fluid contacting hot engine components can ignite, potentially spreading fire in the engine bay.
