KAWASAKI NINJA 300 Recalls

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 has 3 recalls, all affecting 2013 models, with the most serious being an ECU software defect that can cause the engine to stall during deceleration, removing drive power and raising the risk of a crash. The 2013 ABS-equipped models have a separate brake-related concern: debris contamination inside the ABS hydraulic unit can cause the anti-lock brake system to behave unexpectedly, potentially interfering with braking when it is needed most. There is also an engine stall issue on certain 2013 motorcycles where the engine cuts out while decelerating, again removing power mid-ride.
