3 recalls across 4 model years
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 has 3 recalls spanning the 2015–2021 model years, with the most serious affecting 2020–2021 models where the engine oil pressure relief valve can come apart, causing a sudden loss of oil pressure and an engine stall while riding.
On 2019–2021 models, a separate engine defect can also cause the engine to stall unexpectedly while riding, raising the risk of a crash. Going back to the earliest production year, the 2015 model has a camshaft chain tensioner problem that can cause the engine to fail mid-ride, again resulting in a sudden loss of power.
