2 recalls across 4 model years
The Lexus GS F has 2 recalls covering all 2015–2018 model years, both involving high-pressure fuel pump covers that can develop fatigue cracks, leak fuel, and start a fire if an ignition source is nearby. The 2016–2018 models are affected by a specific failure mode where operating conditions damage a pulsation damper inside one of the two high-pressure fuel pumps, which then cracks the pump cover and allows fuel to escape. The 2015 model year has a related but separately scoped version of the same underlying problem, where the pump cover can crack and leak without the damper failure mechanism described in the later filing.
