3 recalls across 3 model years
The Lexus NX250 has 3 recalls covering 2022 through 2024 model years, the most serious being a 2022-only defect where missing spot-welds in the front shock absorber mounting area can allow the shock to separate from the body, causing the vehicle to become unstable and raising the risk of a crash.
The 2023-2024 model years have a clockspring issue in the steering column where the driver's airbag can be deactivated and fail to deploy in a crash. On 2022 models, the brake control computer can incorrectly detect a fault in the electronic parking brake system and disable it entirely, leaving the vehicle unable to hold itself in park and at risk of rolling away.
