3 recalls across 3 model years
The Lexus NX350 has 3 recalls covering 2022 through 2024 model years, with the most serious affecting 2022 vehicles where missing spot-welds in the front shock absorber mounting area can allow the shock to separate from the body, destabilizing the vehicle and raising the risk of a crash.
On 2023-2024 models, a faulty clockspring in the steering column can interrupt the electrical connection to the driver's airbag, preventing it from deploying in a crash. The same 2022 model year affected by the suspension issue also has a brake control module that can incorrectly detect a fault in the electronic parking brake system and disable it, leaving the vehicle unable to hold itself in park and at risk of rolling away.
